Buonconvento
Discovering the area starts from the doorstep, where in just 5 minutes you’ll be in the medieval town of Buonconvento. Here you’ll find well priced Trattorias serving authentic rustic cuisine.
Monte Oliveto Maggiore
This historic Benedictine abbey is also just 5 minutes from the Villa. It offers access to an exquisite chapel and cloistered courtyards featuring stunning 15th century frescoes by Luca Signorelli.
Montalcino
Renowned for its world-class Brunello wine, this hill town village is an easy 10 minutes from Villa San Nazario.
Siena
Take a leisurely 20 minute drive to the historic centre of Siena, home of the Piazza del Campo a UNESCO world heritage site. Siena is famous for its museums, art, cuisine and the Palio, an historic horse race hosted bi-annually in July and August.
